                                                        . . . the noise was so loud . . .
                                                                    
        I was peacefully lounging in the backyard when a loud noise came from the woods. It was so loud! I think my mom was yelling for me to come in the house but I couldn’t move. Eventually the noise stopped but then something worse came out of the woods and was heading straight for me and it looked like . . . a dragon! The dragon stopped in front of me and made that horrible noise before flying into the woods. After a long time I could move again and I went into the house.

The Trip Through the Forest - By Abigail

   
               “ Wow!” was all I could say when my sister (Julie) and I turned around a bend in the forest and fell into a big boat! Julie was the adventure kind of person so leave it up to her to say this, “ Let’s explore! ” and leave me groaning from the fall into the boat. So then we explored and found an odd looking object. “ I wonder what it is? ” I said. Julie was curious so she rubbed the object off with a handkerchief and we were whisked off our feet and tumbling through thin air!
